Dholi has an important place in punjabi folk music. In bhangra ( a form of Punjabi dance ), dhal adds instant energy so much that the dholi himself is compelled to dance along with the beat. When you hear the dholi being played, you feel energy, happiness and colours everywhere.
I made this with oil paints on canvas and used bright colours.
